Strict core fuzzy logics and quasi-witnessed models

چکیده
In this paper we prove strong completeness of axiomatic extensions of first-order strict core fuzzy logics with the so-called quasi-witnessed axioms with respect to quasi-witnessed models. As a consequence we obtain strong completeness of Product Predicate Logic with respect to quasi-witnessed models, already proven by M.C. Laskowski and S. Malekpour in [19]. Finally we study similar problems for expansions with !, define !-quasi-witnessed axioms and prove that any axiomatic extension of a first-order strict core fuzzy logic, expanded with !, and !-quasiwitnessed axioms are complete with respect to !-quasi-witnessed models.

Distinguished algebraic semantics for t-norm based fuzzy logics: Methods and algebraic equivalencies
This paper is a contribution to the algebraic study of t-norm based fuzzy logics. In the general framework of propositional core and ∆-core fuzzy logics we consider three properties of completeness with respect to any semantics of linearly ordered algebras. Useful algebraic characterizations of these completeness properties are obtained and their relations are studied. Moreover, we concentrate ...
متن کاملFirst Order Smtl Logic and Quasi-witnessed Models
In this paper we prove strong completeness of axiomatic extensions of First Order SMTL logic adding the so-called quasi-witnessed axioms with respect to quasi-witnessed Models. In order to achieve this result, we make use of methods that are typical of Classical Predicate Logic, and have been later generalized by P. Hájek to cope with Predicate Fuzzy Logic. At the end of the paper, we obtain, a...
متن کاملGCIs Make Reasoning in Fuzzy DL with the Product T-norm Undecidable
Fuzzy variants of Description Logics (DLs) were introduced in order to deal with applications where not all concepts can be defined in a precise way. A great variety of fuzzy DLs have been investigated in the literature [12,8]. In fact, compared to crisp DLs, fuzzy DLs offer an additional degree of freedom when defining their expressiveness: in addition to deciding which concept constructors (l...
متن کاملGödel Negation Makes Unwitnessed Consistency Crisp
Ontology consistency has been shown to be undecidable for a wide variety of fairly inexpressive fuzzy Description Logics (DLs). In particular, for any t-norm “starting with” the Lukasiewicz t-norm, consistency of crisp ontologies (w.r.t. witnessed models) is undecidable in any fuzzy DL with conjunction, existential restrictions, and (residual) negation. In this paper we show that for any t-norm...
متن کاملOn the Failure of the Finite Model Property in some Fuzzy Description Logics
Fuzzy Description Logics (DLs) are a family of logics which allow the representation of (and the reasoning with) structured knowledge affected by vagueness. Although most of the not very expressive crisp DLs, such as ALC, enjoy the Finite Model Property (FMP), this is not the case once we move into the fuzzy case. In this paper we show that if we allow arbitrary knowledge bases, then the fuzzy ...
